Alternative Energy & Power Asia 2007
9-11 March at Expo Center Karachi.
Pakistan like other developing countries of the region is facing serious challenges of energy deficit, for which the govt is emphasizing on renewable energy, targeting 10% or 2700 MW in the countries energy mix by 2015.In this regard, Alternative Energy & Power Asia 2007 Exhibition was organized, which was the biggest specialized exhibition in Pakistan, covering power generation, transmission and distribution, as well as energy saving technologies and renewable energy development. The Exhibition was focused on leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and services for the following sectors: electric, hydroelectric, thermal and atomic power stations, power supply systems, electricity transmission networks, manufacturers of energy saving equipment and technologies, construction, mounting and repair organizations etc. it was held in conjunction with International Trade & Industry Fair the ITIF Asia which was UFI approved event .The Exhibition was not only be the premier meeting place for International power alternative energy producing organizations who are interested to invest in the conducive market of Pakistan but also the largest forum for discussing real issues concerning energy.
ITIF Asia also incorporates one day International Conference on Alternative Energy & Power CAEP on March 9, 2007 at Karachi Expo Centre.
Trillium Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd actively participated in the exhibition during which Mr. Owais Ahmed Ghani Governor Balochistan, Mr. Liquate Ali Jatoi Federal Minister for Water & Power, Dr Sagher Ahmed Minister for envoirment & Alternative Energy, Air Commodore Shahzada Qamar–ud-din, Dr Irshad from AEDB and Justice Retd.Abdul Razzaq federal minister for local govt and rural development visited the (TPL) Trillium Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd and acknowledged that it is the most knowledgeable solar system integrator in Pakistan with extensive experience extending over 22 years and showed keen interest in installing solar power system. A large no of organizations visited and sought the information regarding solar power.
